All dressed up and ready to go!
Clowning around on the train on the way into the city...
There was a strange lady on the train (you can just see her grey shirt in the top right hand cornder of the above picture), who was sitting near Damian and Tricia. She got up to leave the train, and left her jacket behind. When reminded that she had left her jacket behind, she replied "It's alright, there's a dead bird in it!".
Sure enough, there's a dead bird in it... After getting to their stop, Damian let the train guard know about the abandoned jacket and dead bird...
Arriving at Watt Modern Dining at the Powerhouse, the dinner guest found themselves in a private dining area...
Who doesn't love bubbles?
Damian and Tricia posed out on the boardwalk near the Brisbane River...
And Damian took the opportunity to introduce the guests to the joy of standover photography...
This is achieved by putting the auto timer on the camera and sitting it on the ground, then making a circle and leaning over the camera!!
The food was superb, and the Chandon sparkling and still wines were excellent...
At around 10:45pm, cars from the Monaro Club arrived to take the guests to the secret after-party location...
Zuri Bar in the valley was the location, and the guests were greeted by a very tall lady in white...
The place was packed to the rafters with guests from 30 restaurants around Brisbane...
Tricia and Mel found a comfy couch to party on!
The band was playing, replaced later in the night by a DJ spinning his tunes...
Even at the after party the bubbles were a big hit!!
