There was a single scrutineering item that Damian had to resolve for Booger Mobile, and that was the replacement of the diff pinion seal.
Having purchased the part, Damian found someone who knew what he was doing to give him a hand!!
With a hoist and everything!!
Off with the old...
Gone!!
Nice shot...
Adjusting the pre-load doohickey...
New pinion seal ready to go back on...
Adjusting...
And punching the nut to lock it in place...
While it was up in the air, a quick check of the rear brakes...
Revealed a broken auto-adjuster... gah!!
It also made the drum a bit scored... time to find some new drums...
So, the pinion seal replacement was successful, and Damian also located a potential showstopping issue that there will be time to rectify before esCarpade... that's a win!!

2016 Corvettes on the Coast
Once again in 2016, Booger Mobile was to be the special guest of the Qld Corvette Club at their annual Corvettes on the Coast event.
First up, stopping for a freight train...
Then collecting Adam before heading down the highway...
Who's Adam? Damian's new partner in crime!!
Heading up and over the Gateway Bridge...
Passing a very similar colour Torana...
Clouds gathering as the boys pass Dreamworld...
And arriving in a carpark!!
Artistic shot of a Studebaker...
Still lining up...
Adam checking out KITT...
Inside the cockpit...
Booger Mobile and Adam - ready to fundraise!!
Camp Quality banner in place...
Lots of event sponsors...
Plenty of Corvettes on display...
Some fancy...
Some even more fancy...
Some old-school...
Drag cars... very loud!!
Some non-Corvettes joined the fun...
A racing Corvette...
Fancy engine!!
This one is clearly a Stingray!!
Rock'n'roll dancing...
Putting on a good show for the crowd...
Shiny and old!!
Even shinier!!
Lots of trophies...
Bob getting ready to auction...
Glenn holding up the auction item while Bob winds up the crowd!!
Meter Maids ready to hand out trophies...
When it was all said and done, it was time for Damian and Adam to head back home...
Back up the highway...
Through some sun-showers...
And back to Damian's place!!
And what would be a trip in Booger Mobile without the usual "outside the shed" shot!!
Huge thanks to the Qld Corvette Club for having Damian and Adam down with Booger Mobile. The boys shook the tins and took an impressive $102.30 in donations!!

2016 Brisbane Billycart Championships
The 12th annual Brisbane Billycart Championships were on, and Damian was invited to put on his www.tallmantalking.com.au hat and MC again, and bring Booger Mobile along to put on display.
Naturally, this meant getting up at ridiculous o'clock, in order to bump in before 7am.
Just how bright are those sidelights? Well, this picture was taken without a flash!!
And the traditional "Booger Mobile parked outside the shed ready to go" shot.
Heading onto the open roads...
The only good thing about being up this early, is being able to see the sun rise!!
And in keeping with the theme from a couple of weeks back, here's the fixed speed camera site at Nudgee.
If you squint, you can see the city in the distance...
A tired selfie... always a requirement!!
Up the Gateway Bridge...
And unsurprisingly, back down the other side...
Arriving at the Carindale Recreation Reserve, it was a bit like esCarpade... There was a significant bit of rain on Saturday night, so there was mud and puddles all over the place...
Driving slowly along the bike path... seems legit!!
Found a prime spot at the top of the hill near where the scrutineering area is.
The obligatory Camp Quality banner goes up...
The hill and ramps - the grass dried out nicely as the morning progressed...
There's Booger Mobile on the right...
Looking down from the ramps...
And of course, a big thanks to the Rotary Club of Carindale for having Damian along to MC...
Officials and photographers...
And an action sequence... Ready!!
Go!!
Looks like yellow (in the left lane looking at the picture) was heading for a win!!
Courier Mail photographer taking action shots...
Damian taking a selfie while talking... oh well, mouth closed is better than open!!
Leaving, it was even more like esCarpade... this hill was steep and coated in sand where they had attempted to fix some of the mud from the vehicles going up and down during the morning...
Here's a snappy bit of dashcam footage of the descent!!
Heading home, back over the Gateway Bridge...
There's the city - slightly closer this time!!
And Booger Mobile, safely back home again!!
A fantastic day was had by all - the racing was fast and furious, the stacks spectacular, and the injuries negligible... All in all, a wonderful day.
