esCarpade 2015 - Day 8 - Drive Home from Goondiwindi

Having successfully completed the 2015 Camp Quality esCarpade, Damian and Angus woke up in Goondiwindi to find that there had been a bit of rain overnight, which washed a bit of the dust off Booger Mobile.

Looking good still!!

After a leisurely pack-up, and a coffee, it was time to head down to the banks of the Macintyre River for breakfast...

Some of the stragglers - lots of teams were in and out early (much like the Queensland teams usually are).

Heading home, the boys were stalked by a hottie in a Kia Sportage!!

Stunt trucks ahead!!

More roadworks...

Lots of trucks moving big things today...

And slow moving machinery moving from farm to farm...

Angus did a bit of sleeping...

While Damian took selfies!!

Still being stalked...

Past the Millmerran murals...

And up the hill to Toowoomba...

After fuelling up (and seeing 808, Bender and XC1 when they stopped for fuel), it was time to continue through Toowoomba...

More stunt trucks!!

Down the range...

Past a big orange...

Past a big, red elephant...

Carefully past a fixed speed camera...

All the way to Angus' house... delivering him safely back to Jo-Anne!!

Heading home...

And there!!

Some gratuitous arty shots...

And heading down the driveway...

Booger Mobile ready to go back into the shed...

After a successful campaign this year, Damian is left with some serious decisions to make over the coming months...  Next year's event starts in Batemans Bay - a 1303km drive to the starting line...  It finishes in Griffith - a 1304km drive home again...  What to do, what to do?

Thanks to everyone who read the blog, and who sent through messages of support...  Booger Mobile for the win!!
