New accelerator pedal assembly

Time for Damian to get serious about getting Booger Mobile ready for the 2014 Camp Quality esCarpade...  One niggling issue that has plagued the years that Booger Mobile has entered, has been the accelerator cable.

Of course, there needs to be a gratuitous shot of Booger Mobile's number...

And of course, before anything else happens, it's time to get the bash plate out of the way...

Uh oh... that looks pretty fresh... it would seem there's a bit of a transmission oil leak to deal with... of course...

Step one, get under the dash and remove the old accelerator pedal assembly...  Then, get the new one poked through the hole in the firewall...

With a bit of luck, it won't hit anything...  Gah... so close... it's catching on the head of this bolt... which of course, is holding the bracket for the kickdown cable, which of course, is staying...

Move the bracket, and there's clearance all round!!  Woohoo!!!!!  Now to work out how to connect the end of the pedal assembly to the carby...

At least there's plenty of clearance where it matters!!

So vehicle preparation has commenced for 2014...  Damian really needs to get his act together - the esCarpade will arrive before he knows it!!
