First up, Damian took Booger Mobile to get fueled up (including the obligatory 20L jerry can), then when he returned, the lovely Tricia assisted to measure the height of Booger with his head on the roof... 226cm. The opening at the shed door? 224cm... lolsigh.
Next up, time to install the bash plate!!
Damian also located the K&N filter pre-charger (extra dust protection) and installed it.
Voila!! Look at that ground clearance!!

And since Damian loves symmetry so much...

Out came the bottom half of the rear seat...
And stuff started being packed into the boot...
The space where the lower half of the rear seat used to be houses the soft luggage during the trip, and also provides a convenient space for the snatch strap (purple bag) and fire extinguisher!!
Now the boot is starting to get full!!

Booger's head isn't bolted down yet, as Damian will need to get Booger Mobile out of the shed and park it outside on Wednesday night...

That's it... just about all the preparation is done - all that is left is to finish packing bags and stashing the rest of the stuff in Booger Mobile, then get some sleep and head to Newcastle!! (First, Damian has a game of basketball to play on Wednesday night!!)
