esCarpade 2016 - Day 4 - Rest Day - Phillip Island

Rest Day on Phillip Island, and the first thing that a lot of entrants do is to wash their cars... bit of a line up!!

Damian's turn!!

Soapy soapy soapy...

Job's done!!

Damian's a clown!!

Give the engine a bit of a spray, too... there were a thousand bugs in the radiator!!

After the wash and a coffee, it was time to get the slow leak looked at...  Damian jacked it up...

Then the Bridgestone guy used the rattle gun to take the wheel off...

Look at that flex!!

Pump it up...

Try to drown it...

Ah haaaaaaaaah!!  Look at those air bubbles near the rim...

Mud/rocks between the bead and the rim...  Cleaning those out fixed the problem!!

EEA was up on the hoist...

The wheel back on...

And the nice blokes from Bridgestone Phillip Island Tyre & Service Centre didn't even charge Damian - "can't charge you for cleaning some dirt out of it" was his comment...  THANKS MATE!!

Adam checking tyre pressures all round...

Evening the pressures...

Hey Scott... look - the witches car is on a stick!!  (This is what Damian was going to do with Booger Mobile, but the witches did it accidentally, which is even funnier!!)

Next up, what do you do on rest day other than help people with their car problems?  Damian changing out the UHF radio for the witches...

Twice this trip Damian's electrical toolkit has come into play, for two cars other than Booger Mobile!!

hehe... tying the wires up with the booger green tape!!

Getting the extra length needed for the aerial coax proved to be the toughest part of the job - half the centre console and dash was removed and reinstalled in the process!!

This photo makes it look like Damian has an arm growing out of his chin!!

A very thankful witch, Donna...

Adam's turn to be a clown in a photo!!

Lunch time... nice view!!

So that's pretty much how Team Booger Mobile spent the rest day...  Cleaning and fixing cars, and Damian doing a few blog posts to catch up.

Tonight will be the penguin parade - hopefully the rainy weather clears by then.
