Tonight's blog brought to you by Denise Gadsden, who has been supporting Booger Mobile for a number of years - each year making a donation towards the fuel costs associated with the trip... Thanks for your support, Denise!!
Damian was finalising preparation for this year's esCarpade, with the sad task of removing the 64 window numbers - this year Booger Mobile will officially be known as such, without the use of number 64...
Front windscreen done, with reflective Damian making a guest appearance in the shot...
The rear window one Damian was particularly proud of, having cut it out of the original 2010 door number panels - the green showing through to make the 64 on the doors...
Only a shadow left behind...
But the mighty 64 lives on on the wall of Team Booger Mobile HQ, aka Damian's shed!
And the boot is packed - Damian wonders what he's forgotten, given it all seemed to fit so easily... Perhaps he's just getting more efficient at packing since this is his seventh esCarpade!!
And the lower half of the rear seat is removed, ready for soft luggage... octopus-netting waiting for securing the load...
And lucky last, throw the battery on for a cursory charge...
T minus two (and a bit) days and counting until Damian and Adam head towards the starting line...
